Alexey and Anton Yakovlevs

Anton and Alexey are twins. And just like them, their works, at first glance, are similar in style. But upon closer examination you can tell the individual hand-writing of each. Artists work mainly in the portrait genre. Friends, acquaintances, family members, as well as complete strangers become the main characters of their paintings. Twin brothers also paint still life and landscapes.

Alexey’s painting were exhibited at «betweenwindows» and «Azot» galleries in Moscow, as well as at the «Survival Kit» exhibition in Riga, all in 2019. He also helped create merchandize for the «Who is who» artists from Kaliningrad for the «Inclus» exhibition in 2021.

At the end of 2020, his brother Anton took part in the international festival of contemporary art «Raum Space» in Kaliningrad. In 2021, his works were displayed at «betweenwindows» Gallery in Moscow.

In October of 2021, the twins’ first joint exhibition entitled «In the room» took place at the Triangle Gallery of the Winzavod art cluster in Moscow.
