Konstantin Timofeev

Director of «Black Demon» (2017), «Beyberikeen» (2019). In 2022, he released «Bayburyan 2» and «Lookuut and Nyurguhun», two of his new films. Konstantin studied at the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television as an entertainer. During his studies he was making children’s cartoons. The director studies the folklore of different peoples. He also became the first to film the unique Yakut fairy tale — «Beyberikeen». In 2021, it won for the best adaptation at the competition of publishing and visual creative projects for children and teenagers about the North and the Arctic. «I would like to believe that future generations will see my film and want to make films of our fairy tales themselves.»
