Sardana Savvina

Produced such films as «Fire in the Wind» (2016), «There is no God but me» (2019), «River» (2019), «Cold Gold» (2021). Sardana has been promoting films since 2010. This activity was based on enthusiasm and the desire for more people in the country and the world to learn about Yakut cinema. She made subtitles, worked at the film festival, doing film promotions. She gained experience in film making in its development, pre-release stage. In the summer of 2021, she completed her studies and defended her master’s thesis on film and literature of the circumpolar region in the North-Eastern Federal University of Yakutsk. In 2021, she was appointed the head of «Sakhafilm» film company. With the arrival of Sardana as director, work on the development of a law on Law on State support of Cinematography in the Republic of Sakha began, as well as the preparation of a film development «roadmap». Trust me, what we can see here now is just the tip of the iceberg called Yakut film industry."
