Artist, designer, Ph.D. in Art history, professor, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, head of the Department of Design and Decorative and Applied Arts of the Peoples of the Arctic of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts, director of KUUN art Creative Agency. Graduated from the Yakut Art School and East Siberian Academy of Art. In her works Anna connects modernity with the worlds of the past, her works are based on ethnic symbols. On April 8, 2018, the works of the artist Anna Petrova were presented at the St. Catherine’s Church in Bruges (Belgium). The church acquired two of her works. Art critics write about Anna: «A representative of the modern Yakut art of the new direction, possessing universal talent. Her works are authentic, informal for the Yakut sociocultural context and to a certain extent are predictive, for they set the vector of search, which, vividly will declare itself in the art of Yakutia in the next decade.» Anna works are held in the state and private collections of Russia and other countries. They represent an artistic value.
