Oksana Mikheeva

Gorky Fest is a competition of contemporary Russian cinema. Films of different genres and forms are included into a competition program: shorts, novels, experimental films and a bold documentary. The main goal of the festival is to help develop the cinematographic community in Nizhny Novgorod and to blur the line between the filmmakers and the audience, so they can interact and communicate. Over the years, the festival has made it possible to workshops and educational programs, and open a film school. Besides, an important part of it was charity. In 2022, more than a million rubles were raised for the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation.
