Director

Graduated from the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts with a degree in theatre directing. In 2017, graduated from the Moscow Film School, having Alexey Popogrebsky, Boris Khlebnikov, Denis Klebyemev as his curators. «Nuuccia», the film he directed, was awarded the Grand Prix of the International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary in the «East-West» competition section. In 2021, he continued the tradition and won «Best Director» of the 32nd Kinotavr Open Russian Film Festival, also for «Nuuccia». The film is based on a story «Hailak», written by the Polish writer Vaclav Seroshevsky. Vladimir wanted to communicate the problems of modern Yakutia through history. Traditional Yakut ceremonies and, naturally, fantastic landscapes of Yakutia, are depicted in the film.
