Makes both documentaries and feature films, as well as TV series. Even staged a play once. In 2006, graduated from the Yakut College of Culture and Art. He earned a degree from the faculty of Screen Arts of the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television (workshop of Nikolai Obukhovich). He made his professional debut at the age of 20. «The Circle of Life» helped him enter the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television. His works include «The Road» (2012), «White Day» (2013), «Rescuer» (2017), «Helicopter» (2021). Participant of the «2morrow», «Movement» and «Mirror» festivals. Won for the best debut of the VIII International Festival-Workshop of Film Schools «Kinoproba», received a special prize of the International Arseny and Andrei Tarkovsky Prize and VI «Chestnut House» Festival for «Anticipation». Received «New Horizons of Yakut film» special prize as well as Special Mention of the jury of film critics for the courageous design and artistic peculiarity of the I Yakutsk International Film Festival for «The Road». «Helicopter» became an undisputed favorite of the 30th «Kinoshok» Film Festival. The film won for best director, best cameraman’s work (the prize named after Alexander Knyazhinsky), as well as a diploma of the press. The screenplay for «Lagentei» was written based on the real stories of the inhabitants of their native village in Verkhoyan district. There is a lot of hidden symbols in his works, the stories go through the prism of personal stories and experiences of the author. «Yes. I personally perceive cinema as a form of art. I’m filming for myself. And about myself. I can’t just shoot — there has to be a reason. Love is one them.»
