Sergei Kornyushchenko

Graduated from the theatrical studio of V. Bukharin and the department of general stage management of the Russian Academy of Theater Art (class of L. Kheifets).

Sergei has previously directed the Kaliningrad Regional Musical Theatre On Basseinaya and was the chief director of the Vorkuta State Drama Theatre. He has staged successful productions in Russia, Poland and Kazakhstan.

Artistic director of the project D-Theatre, where the performance «Rita Schmidt anyone» was staged, which had a great resonance in the society.

The author of a series of lectures «The History of Soviet Cinema You Haven’t Seen». There, Sergey writes about unknown pages of cinematography development: little-known films made at the beginning of the century; they help to immerse in the history of the nascent industry and to understand the important moments in the development of cinema.

Director of the performance promenade «The Routes of the Crown Prince» — a walk with elements of theatrical action through the historic district of Kaliningrad.
