In the sphere of his interests — easel and applied graphics (book illustration, printing), photography, interior design and many other things.

The basis of his works is the movement of mankind from natural environment (Natura) to man-made nature, i.e. to culture (Cultura) as «the second nature of man» and their dialectics.

Shapes of figures, plasticity of lines and their content are suggested to the artist by nature (experiments with light, observing the rhythmic lines of sand).

The world of culture for Igor Vasilyevich is a space of human constructed meanings in their desire to know the real world. Many objects are transformed into special signs — symbols.
