Gushchyan Margarita and Grachik

Street Art Artists

20 liters of facade paint, a few days of hard work, including breaks due to the rain, a massive wall, and in the creative hands of these authors, the city begins to live to its fullest.

For Margarita and Grachik, the walls of the house are real canvases, which magically transform into voluminous, life-affirming works.

Margarita and Grachik are Street Art Artists, organizers of the street art festival «Territory 39:13» and the exhibition Inclus.

Well-known works:

* portrait of Joseph Brodsky on the wall of Kaliningrad’s Chekhov Library. A. Chekhov (popularly referred to as CyberBrodsky),

* «Peeping Chekhov» on the wall of the Chekhovka library

* Graffiti which is showing gratitude to doctors on the wall of the Guryevsk Central Regional Hospital

* Artwork dedicated to children with Down syndrome.

The authors note that street art is attractive because, unlike galleries and exhibitions, the viewer is forced to get into a «conversation» with the picture. In the street, even the uninterested in art notice the work.
