She regards dance not only as a movement of the body but also the movement of thought, a way of expanding the boundaries of consciousness. Professional activities of Valeria Beichuk aimed at the promotion of contemporary dance in the Kaliningrad region, as well as the development of the region in the field of culture and art.

Valeria’s diverse career background makes her versatile in the performing and theatrical arts. She is a dance teacher and choreographer in the Kaliningrad regional drama theater, organizer of dance intensive courses and workshops for children and adults, director of the children’s contemporary dance studio Forms and — the lifework of her dancing career — the international contemporary dance festival TanzTRANZIT, where she is the art director.

Previously existed TanzTRANZIT-fest Valeria Beichuk revived in a duet with Elena Dementieva, having united with her in the spring of 2021. Together they dance and generate ideas for the development of dance culture in the region. They are two-time winners at the Fluid festival of experimental dance in the performance category and winners at the DanceFloorMasters festival in the contemporary dance category. Showed a performance at the exhibition Quiet! The rehearsal is in progress in the exhibition space Inclus (Kaliningrad). Currently, DanceTRANZIT is a free dance platform to present the best works of the Kaliningrad choreographers in the following areas: contemporary dance, performance, and experimental choreography. It is also an educational and enlightenment project in the field of culture and art, aimed at the popularization of contemporary dance and other types of art related to dance.
