Evgeny Avramenko

Graduate of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, winner of the International Organ Competition in Minsk (2003) and the I All-Russian Organ Competition in Kaliningrad (2012), winner of the «Cathedral Special Prize» at the M. Tariverdiev International Competition (2009).

Evgeny conducts extensive concert activities in Russia and abroad. In 2005−2012, he was a teacher at the Higher Institute of Music (Damascus, Syria) and in 2005−2008 — a Principal Organist at the Latin Church of St Anthony in Damascus. Recipient of the special award for his contribution to the culture and art of the Syrian Arab Republic. He is the founder of the Organ Community www.principal.su, the largest internet portal on the art of the organ in Russia. He is a member of the Association of Organists and Organ Masters of the International Union of Musicians of Russia.

In 2017, he became a titular organist of the Cathedral in Kaliningrad.
